At my age, to have the big metal train tracks in your mouth...I just figured, in person with people, I just wouldn't feel as comfortable as I would with something that was truly invisible. I really believe in the product, I am kind of a walking, talking billboard for it.

What I like best about Invisalign is the fact that I can take them out and floss and brush my teeth and put them back in. So it's not like I'm working around all this metal in my mouth, trying to get the toothbrush in there and the floss in there.

I am absolutely, positively thrilled. The fact that I was done with it in less than a year, and really had no inconveniences whatsoever, makes me wonder why I even hesitated.

For the patient, I think the benefits are the cleaning of the teeth. They don't have to worry about food being stuck in their appliances. Brushing and flossing is routine. And it's much easier to keep clean.

One of the most common questions we get is, "Do they really work?" In my practice, I have treated two of my assistants with them. They are still wearing the aligners, so I just pull them over and say, "They work, ask these people."

We have several patients into acting and Invisalign is definitely for them. It's tremendous because it allows them to go to auditions without being concerned that they're not going to qualify. They can go about their normal life without interruption. Even work life.
